§ 101 Purpose

A. The Tribal Council has found that providing certain forms of assistance to meet the basic needs of Tribal Members is necessary to improving the social and economic condition of Tribal Members.

B. Through this Chapter, the Tribal Council institutes its Social BenefitProgram, guided by laws, policies and procedures which are applicable through federal laws and regulations.

C. The Social BenefitProgram established in the Chapter complies with the General Welfare Policy found in Chapter 1 of this Title of the Law & Order Code.
