§ 102 Authority

A. Pursuant to the authority vested in the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribal Council by virtue of its inherent powers of self-government, and its authority to provide for the health, wealth and safety, morale and welfare of the San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe, hereby establishes the CARES Fund Hardship Assistance Program, and enacts this Chapter which shall establish the purposes, powers and duties of the CARES Fund Hardship Assistance Program.

B. The Tribal Council shall establish the amounts of assistance and any additional requirements for participation in a CARES Fund Hardship Assistance Program through resolutions of the Tribal Council.
