102 Tribal Council and Terms of Office

ยง 102 Tribal Council and Terms of Office

A. Tribal Council Members. There are seven (7) seats on the Tribal Council: the President, the Vice President, two (2) Area Council Members from the Northern Area, two (2) Area Council Members from the Southern Area, and one (1) At-Large Council Member.

B. Term of Office. The term of office for all Tribal Council Members elected in a General Election is four (4) years. In accordance with Article VIII, Section 13 of the Constitution, each incumbent Tribal Council Member shall remain in office until the oath of office is administered to the newly elected Tribal Council Member for his or her seat.
