1101 Tie Votes

§ 1101 Tie Votes

A. Pursuant to Article VIII, Section 11 of the Constitution, in the case of a tie between one or more candidates, a special runoff election shall be held on the day following the election.
B. All eligible voters shall be permitted to vote in a runoff election.
C. If a runoff election ends in another tie, the outcome shall be decided by the drawing of straws by the candidates tied for that office.
