A.The Candidate Eligibility Map in Form Lin the Appendix to this Ordinance shall be used by the Election Board to determine candidate eligibility and continued eligibility to occupy a Tribal Council seat as follows: 
      1. President, Vice President and At-Large Council. Pursuant to Article IV, Sections 2 and 4 of the Constitution, the President, Vice-President, and At-Large Council Member shall reside within the territory or within one-hundred fifty (150) miles of the territory of the Tribe. The Candidate Eligibility Map  (Form L) defines the exterior boundaries of the one-hundred fifty (150) mile limit for residency eligibility.
      2. Northern Area Council. Pursuant to Article IV, Section 3 of the Constitution, Northern Area Council  Members must be residents of the Northern Area. The Candidate Eligibility Map (Form L) identifies the exterior boundaries of the Northern Area for residency eligibility, which includes the areas in and around Navajo Mountain, White Mesa and Blanding, Utah, and in and around Paiute Canyon, Arizona.
      3. Southern Area Council. Pursuant to Article  IV,  Section 3 of the Constitution, Southern Area Council Members must be residents of the Southern Area. The Candidate Eligibility Map (Form L) identifies the exterior boundaries of the Southern Area for residency eligibility, which includes the areas in and around Rough Rock Point, Hidden Springs, Willow Springs, Tuba City and Cow Springs, Arizona.
