302 Specific Eligibility Criteria

ยง 302 Specific Eligibility Criteria
A. Applicant must:
      1. Attend at least one Tribal Council Meeting, in-person, within one year (365 days) of obtaining assistance;
      2. Have graduated from high school, or have obtained a General Equivalency Diploma certificate;
      3. Be admitted as a full-time or part-time student at an eligible institution, and have proof of admittance and start date;
      4. Provide proof of applying for government education assistance and grants, including FAFSA; and the approval or denial letter for such government assistance;
      5. If applicable, provide a Needs Analysis from the Eligible Institution;
      6. Complete the number of course credits for which a student is funded and maintain a GPA of 2.0 or better;
      7. Submit an unofficial transcript from the Eligible Institution to the Tribal Administration at the end of every grading period or semester;
      8. Meet the eligibility requirements for the Education Assistance Program as determined by the Tribal Council in accordance with the Education Assistance Program Handbook, including any income eligibility requirements set forth by any federal or state funded education programs.

B. Any individual who knowingly and willfully misappropriates funds, property or information for personal or other use, not in the interest of the Tribe shall be subject to the penalties or disciplinary actions as authorized by applicable law and policies.
