302 Specific Eligibility Criteria

§ 302 Specific Eligibility Criteria

A. Applicant must:
      1. Be an enrolled San Juan Southern Paiute Tribal Member as of March 23, 2020;
      2. Be 18 years of age or older;
      3. Be an enrolled San Juan Southern Paiute Tribal Member as of March 23, 2020 who is a) under 18 years of age, b) who is the dependent of a non-enrolled adult and c) cannot be claimed as the dependent of an adult San Juan Southern Paiute Tribal Member;
      4. Live in the United States of America; and
      5. Complete the entire CARES Fund Hardship Assistance Program Application, including all necessary information to show a need specifically related to COVID-19;
6. Sun      6. Submit an Administratively Complete Application before the established deadline for submission as set forth by Resolution;
      7. In the event that an applicant’s COVID-19 related needs are less than the assistance received, applicants must return any excess funds to the Tribe. Applicants must retain all receipts related to expenditures as the Tribe reserves the right to audit and review program compliance. If a particular assistance award is structured as a reimbursement program, applicants must provide documentation of expenses prior to the receipt of any funds.

B. Any individual who knowingly and willfully misappropriates funds, property or information for personal or other use, not in the interest of the Tribe shall be subject to the penalties or disciplinary actions as authorized by applicable law and policies.
