§ 702 Purpose and Authority

A. The San Juan Southern Paiute Tribal Council has a duty to ensure that the Enrollment Ordinance (Law & Order Code, Title 3, Chapter 1) is applied pursuant to Tribal Law and according to a process that is fair and consistent. These Rules of Procedure for Enrollment Appeals are intended to provide an appeal process for all enrollment appeals permitted by Article II, Section 6   of the Constitution and in accordance with Article VI, Section 1 of the Enrollment Ordinance.B.These Rules of Procedure for Enrollment Appeals are adopted as an ordinance of the Tribal Council pursuant to Article VI, Section 7 of the Constitution.
