§ 201 Tribal Council Resolution Required

A. All Social Benefit Assistance provided herein shall require a Resolution by the Tribal Council describing at minimum, (1) the type and amount of Assistance, (2) the specific social need that will be met by providing the Assistance, and (3) the class of Tribal Members to whom the Assistance will be provided.

B. Except as specifically authorized in §202(A)(4) for Emergency Response Assistance, cash payments shall not be made to Tribal Members for any other form of Social  Benefit Assistance.

C. Any decision by the Tribal Council to provide Social Benefit Assistance to a particular class of Tribal Members over providing such Assistance to all Tribal Members shall be supported by a reasonable justification for limiting the Social Benefit Assistance to a particular class.
